Dr Zonghan XieQualificationsPhD. (UNSW) 2004, BEng (NEU, China) 1990 InformationDr Zonghan Xie is a Senior Lecturer in Materials Science and Engineering. His research is focused on the microstructure – mechanical property relationships of engineering and biological materials, particularly at the micron-/nanoscales. Zonghan has pioneered in combining advanced mechanical test techniques with state-of-the-art electron microscopes to discover critical parameters that regulate mechanical behaviours of a wide range of materials including surface protective coatings. Zonghan had worked at UNSW, University of Sydney and Los Alamos National Laboratory before joining ECU. Zonghan is a Visiting Research Fellow of UNSW (School of Materials). Zonghan’s teaching duties at ECU include Properties of Engineering Materials, Engineering Mechanics and Fluid Mechanics. Publications.Contact DetailsCampus: Joondalup |
